Bulletproof technology
Bulletproof technology
Body armour:
Kevlar aramid fiber
Kevlar bulletproof vests
And kevlar sheets, inserts for extra protection
Kevlar panels
Carbon fiber
Dyneema fiber
Steel plates
Boron carbide plates
Up to level IV armour
So basicly: 1 the vest itself: Fibers
2 The bulletproof sheet: fibers or The bulletproof plate: Steel or ceramics
Special:
Dragon skin
With circular discs overlapping like scales, making it a partly flexible body armour.
And the discs are made out of silicon carbide ceramic matrices and laminates
Other:
Liquid, gell body armour
Possibly future body armour material:
Graphene
Bulletproof glass
Consists out of layers of glass and layers of polycarbonate.
First a layer of glass then a layer if polycarbonate and the a later of glass again and so on
